The Arlington Theater ran the Nightmare before Christmas last night so my friend Tracy and I went since I've never seen it. It was in 3D! Quite brilliant!

I'm posting two photos today because they go together. I've been collecting postcards from all over the world for many years now. This first picture is just a pile of ones I haven't put up yet. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to display them. The second picture is of my bulletin board which has most of the postcards I've received in the last year. If you ever want to send me a postcard from where you live or a place you visit, let me know. I'm always looking to add to the collection.

I had a fake orchid on my desk for quite a while but one of our vendors decided that was unacceptable and bought me the real deal and gave me instructions on how to care for it. I'm doing pretty good so far considering all the flowers haven't fallen off. :D Plus I must admit, it makes me happy to look at it. And since yesterday was a long day of people being stupid I decided to take this picture to focus on something that makes me happy. :)

While walking down State St. in Santa Barbara with my boyfriend Brian, my friend Tracy and Brian's sister and brother-in-law (Miranda and Chad) I saw a man with a some pets that really loved each other. Or they were on heavy drugs! The picture below is of a dog, a cat and mouse. The mouse is the little white blob. ha! I guess you can't choose your family.

A project begins...

I've decided to do a 365 project. It's not going to be a picture of me everyday. It's just going to be a picture everyday. I will attempt to post each picture the day after I take it. Each day will get one picture. No more. No less. My project is simple. Everyday I will take a picture with my cell phone. They won't be art. They may not even be in focus, I have no idea, but they will be odd or interesting or funny things I see everyday. Or maybe they won't be funny. I have no clue. Luckily that's not the point of this project. I hope you enjoy following along. :)

PS: I realize that next year has 366 days in it due to it being a leap year. I will be doing 366 days worth of pictures but everyone refers to this as a 365 project so there ya go.
